We welcome your order, request for a quotation or request for more information by email, mail, fax or phone. See Technical Solutions' contact details. This site does not have a payemnt gateway, so we will contact you with freight costs and payment options after you have placed your order.

Stock Lines & Product Availability

Technical Solutions endeavor to best meet the special needs of people with a disability by making a wide variety of products and services available.
We keep many of these products in stock for speedy delivery but some items must be imported or manufactured to order and this can cause delays in delivery.

Prices

Unfortunately, prices (and exchange rates) are not always stable. Please use the prices on this web site and the prices in our catalogue as a guide only, and confirm them when ordering.

Freight, Packaging & Delivery

We can arrange delivery of your purchase by Registered Post, Express Post or Courier. The cost will vary depending on the size/weight of the shipment and the destination. Please feel free to request a quotation. Freight insurance is recommended. Goods damaged in transit, must be reported within 5 working days in order to make an insurance claim.

The GST and You!

GST is included in our prices where required. We've marked these prices with the symbol [GST]. Under the guidelines of the "simple" Tax System, some of our goods and services will incur the GST, and some will be GST free.

 

Technical Solutions Australia does not supply Life Support Equipment.

The components that we build our equipment from are purchased on the condition that they are not used in Life Support Equipment.

"Life Support Equipment" is broadly defined as:

Devices or systems whose failure to perform as expected could result in significant injury or death to the user.


Technical Solutions Australia does not have access to components or design verification to meet Life Support specifications.

You must not use Technical Solutions Australia products as Life Support Equipment without a written agreement from us relating to the specific device in use.

Terms of payment

We will accept signed purchase orders from approved schools, hospitals and other institutions. Our terms are nett 14 days, including partial payment for part filled orders. Credit card orders from the above organisations will incur a 2% surcharge.

For private customers we request payment with your order. Master Cards and Visa Cards are also welcome. Credit card orders from private customers do not incur a surcharge.


Product appearance.

Production models may vary slightly. You always receive the latest version. Switches are photographed with some devices - this is to illustrate the function, and does not imply switches are part of a set.

Returns/Warranty Claims

We provide a 12 month warranty on products manufactured by Technical Solutions. Other products are subject to the limits of their manufacturer's warranty. Unless stated otherwise, the warranty on adapted and unadapted toys is 3 months.

 

Failure of equipment due to excesive wear outside of its intended use and damage due to lack of supervision is not covered by warranty.


Returns will not be accepted without prior approval. After receiving a Return authorisation, package the equipment well and send it freight prepaid along with a note quoting the Return Authorisation, a contact name, phone number and address, invoice details, and a description of the problem.


Goods Damaged In Transit:

Goods damaged in transit, must be reported within 5 working days in order to make an insurance claim.

Return policy:

Should the goods prove unsuitable you must apply within 14 days of shipment for authority to return them for exchange or credit, less a 20% restocking fee. All returns are subject to prior approval. Not all goods can be returned. The goods, as well as all packaging, instructions and other documentation must be returned in "as new" condition within fourteen days of the date of shipment. The customer is responsible for all freight charges.
